ADASA Photo Gallery of medium resolution photos for press and for channel partners and customers to use in their own PowerPoint presentations.
Laser_Beam-LR2.jpg
LaserScanner

JPEG is 500 x 439 pixels. The LXE HX2 rugged wearable laser scanner is shown. The lighting and exposure of this photo have enhanced the visibility of the laser beam. Note that CCD imager versions are also available to scan two-dimensional bar codes. Although many of our customers originate SGTIN-96 RFID identiites from GTIN-14 bar codes. This photo makes the subtle point that other bar codes may be used as a seed for generating unique identity information that is encoded into RFID tags. Also note that the RFID tag is meant to complement existing printed information as shown in this photo. ADASA does not replicate printed information with redundant printed information; doing so would needlessly slow down the tagging process and increase the total solution cost.

Tag_Removal-LR.jpg
Tag_Removal-MedRes.jpg

290K Full Size Photo. This photo shows an operator removing a freshly encoded Alien Higgs Squiggle tag from an ADASA mobile encoder. The tag is popped onto your finger when you bring it close to the tag. With a couple minutes of training and practice, you can scan, encode, and apply custom-encoded tags in less than 3 seconds. This results in a sustained rate of 20 cartons per minute. This is an order of magnitude faster than other manual tagging methods.

618K Full Size Photo. Closeup of an Alien Higgs Squiggle tag being removed from a stationary ADASA tag encoder. The ADASA encoder can be bolted to a cart or a desktop or even suspended from a tool counter balance cable.
Tag_Fetch-LR2.jpg
Tag_Fetch-MedRes.jpg

428K Full Size Photo. This photo is a composite of the laser ring scanner, the LXE HX2, and the ADASA mobile encoder. This does not represent a typical ergonomic configuration (such as a belt-mounted or fork lift mounted solution), but it does pictorally present all components in a composite photograph.
MobileTaggingKit-LR.jpg
MobileTaggingKit-MR.jpg

423K Full Size Photo. Mobile Tagging Kit closeup shot to show the major components and how they are arranged in the kit. Software comes pre-loaded onto the LXE HX2.
Tag_Removal_Hip_Mount-LR.jpg
Tag_Removal_Hip_Mount-MedRes.jpg

872K Full Size Photo. Shows hip-mounted PAD3500 with operator removing an encoded Raflatac EPC Gen2 tag for subsequent attachment to a carton. This is one of two preferred ergonomic arrangements; in this case the operator reaches across his abs to remove a tag. In another preferred arrangement, the PAD3500 rides on the operator's belt in a vertical orientation and retrieves tags without crossing over. Some find this to be the fastest and most efficient configuration.

Placing_Tag_on_Carton.jpg

164K Full Size Photo. Close up showing an operator placing an encoded EPC Gen2 tag onto a carton. This tag will suplement a bar coded label that contains human readable information. Together this tag and that label meet all DoD and retailer tagging and labeling mandates.
