About

ADASA Inc is the global leader for in-process RFID tag encoding. We focus on reducing waste... wasted labor, wasted materials, wasted money.

We enable our customers and solution providers to gradually integrate RFID tagging into their business processes in ways that enable a real return on investment. VAR solutions can be as simple or as sophisticated as you need them to be.

ADASA was founded in 2004 with a fresh perspective of RFID tag deployment and a special consideration for the environment. ADASA is the industry's first company to provide a safe and convenient method for recycling used release liner. This is a preferred alternative to the wasteful practice of throwing slippery release liner away. By doing so, we inherently prevent release liner from ending up the floor where someone could slip and fall. Therefore ADASA RFID recycling is not only good for the environment, but it is also smart business.

In July 2006 ADASA shipped its first mobile encoder, the PAD3500. ADASA is focused on the final foot... the final application of an encoded RFID tag onto an object that is to be tracked. The final foot is the most expensive part of an RFID tag. Other than ADASA's in-process solutions, people end up paying $2 to $5 per tag as a total cost of ownership for RFID tags, a number that far exceeds the actual material cost of the tag itself. ADASA offers the lowest total cost of ownership model for any manual tagging process.

We project that 10 years from now, RFID tags will simply be built into the boxes that we use. But until then, we need to have efficient scalable manual tagging processes and equipment to encode and apply RFID tags in non-centralized locations, such as distribution centers. ADASA's solution providers understand this and can help you begin your transition into RFID using ADASA cartridges and encoders.
